# No One Works Here

## Core concept

AIDE (AI-Driven Enterprise) is the book's central framework: an organization built around autonomous AI agents ("Silicon Nodes") operating in continuous "System Time," rather than human employees ("Carbon Nodes") operating in "Human Time." The book argues revenue can now scale independently of headcount, and gives leaders a diagnostic (the "Friday Night Test": if every human disappeared tonight, what would still be running tomorrow?) plus a roadmap (Captain → Architect) for redesigning their organizations around this shift.
